Marcel Burger

Marcel Burger is an experienced software developer with a strong background in the healthcare sector, currently employed at Deutsche Telekom Healthcare since May 2019, focusing on transforming a Delphi-based LIMS for pathology labs into a modern product while also serving as a SCRUM master. Prior roles include Senior Scientist I and database developer at Evolva Group, where a software system was developed to aid in designing new organism strains, and Senior Specialist Bio-IT at Bioclear, involved in LIMS design and microbial analyses. Earlier experience includes software engineering at UMC Groningen and the Genomic Coordination Centre, where tasks encompassed automating laboratory protocols and analyzing Next Generation Sequencing data.
