Allan Futu DipM ACIM has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Allan began their career with Development Aid From People to People (DAPP) in 1996, where they worked as an Extension Officer for the Child Aid Programme. Allan then worked as an Extension Officer for the Workplace Programme from 2000 to 2001. In 2002, they joined Malawi Telecommunications Ltd as an Engineering Assistant until 2007.

From 2007 to 2009, Allan worked as a Customer Care Consultant at Telekom Networks Malawi Limited (TNM). Allan then transitioned into a role as a Branch Supervisor at TNM, where they maximized customer service and sales at the branch while informing customers about TNM's products and services. In 2011, they were promoted to the role of Call Centre Team Leader, a position they held until September 2018. Allan then took on the role of a Security, Health & Safety Officer, where they are currently employed.

Allan Futu DipM ACIM completed their education at various institutions. Their educational journey began in 1990 when they attended Dedza Secondary School, where they obtained their Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) in 1994. Moving forward, they enrolled at Cambridge International College (CIC) and obtained an International Diploma in Human Resource Management in 2000, followed by an International Diploma in Modern Management/Administration in 2001. Allan then pursued further education at the University of Malawi, Management Development Centre in 2006, where they received a Professional Certificate in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. In 2007, they obtained a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the same institution. Continuing their educational journey, in 2008, Allan completed a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Malawi, Management Development Centre. Lastly, in 2013, they attended the University of Malawi - The Polytechnic, where they acquired a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, completing their formal education in 2015.
