Steven Ngwira

Steven Ngwira has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Steven worked at Telekom Networks Malawi Limited from 2012 to 2021, with roles including Head of Transmission Networks, Head of Technical Projects Management, Manager - Fibre and IP Systems, and Specialist - Transmission Planning. Prior to that, they worked at Malawi Telecommunications Ltd as an IP & Data Planning Engineer from 2011 to 2012. Steven also gained experience at Huawei Technologies as an Access Network Engineer from 2010 to 2011.

Steven Ngwira completed their Bachelor of Science in Information Communication Technology (ICT) at Mzuzu University from 2005 to 2009. Steven then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of the People from 2020 to 2023. Throughout their education, Steven also obtained various certifications including Forensic Accounting & Fraud Examination from West Virginia University in January 2023, Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills from the University of Michigan in January 2023, PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice in October 2021, and Huawei DWDM Certified from Huawei in June 2019, among others.
