Hassan Wahla

Hassan Wahla is the Co-President of Telenav's Automotive Business Unit. Hassan has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology industries.

Hassan Wahla started their career in 1993 as a management consultant for Maritime Power Corporation. In 1999, they joined MicroStrategy, Inc. as Director of Business Development. Hassan was with MicroStrategy for three years before joining Wireless Multimedia Solutions as Vice President of Business Development in 2002. Hassan Wahla spent two years at Wireless Multimedia Solutions before joining Nextel as Senior Product Manager for Location Based Services (LBS) in 2003. At Nextel, Hassan grew the LBS portfolio revenue by over 200% in their first year. Hassan also managed the GPS tracking product portfolio and defined Nextel's consumer LBS strategy. Hassan Wahla left Nextel in 2005 and joined Telenav in 2006, where they have been Co-President of the Automotive Business Unit since 2008.

Hassan Wahla has a Master of International Affairs from Columbia | SIPA, a Master of Science in Information Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech.
