Nisar Bashir

Nisar Bashir currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Telenor Linx since August 2023. Previously, Nisar held the position of Head of Finance for Fixed & TV at Telenor from June 2021 to August 2023, which followed a role as Manager of the Investment Office. Nisar's extensive experience in finance includes serving as Chief Financial Officer at Mudah.my from September 2018 to June 2021, and as Vice President of Finance for Digital Businesses at Telenor from June 2017 to August 2018. Earlier roles include Chief Financial Officer at Valyou by Merchantrade, Head of Strategy for Financial Services at Digi Telecommunications, and various positions at Telenor ASA, including Vice President of Finance for Group Financial Services. Nisar began a career in finance after working as a Research Engineer at SINTEF. Nisar holds a Master of Management in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University.
