Pål Skjager Løberg

Pål Skjager Løberg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Pål Skjager is currently the Head of Cloud Infrastructure at Telenor Linx, where they lead a team responsible for running and securing the cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools. Pål Skjager also manages the Security Operations area in the company. Prior to this, Pål worked at Telenor Digital as an Infrastructure Team Lead, overseeing the management of AWS infrastructure and DevOps tools.

Before joining Telenor, Pål served as the Chief Technology Officer at FourC AS, where they led a team of developers and was involved in planning development, managing projects, and designing the company's infrastructure system platform for large-scale M2M. Pål Skjager also had extensive interaction with customers.

Pål has also gained experience at Yahoo! Technologies Norway, where they held various roles including Platform Architect, Technical Lead, and Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included Java and C++ development, implementing business logic and features based on customer demands, and maintaining service APIs.

In addition, Pål co-founded Initio IT-løsninger AS and worked as a systems engineer and general manager. Pål Skjager developed systems and network solutions for multiple Norwegian ISPs.

Early in their career, Pål worked as a contractor at Fast Search & Transfer, where they were involved in software and website development. Pål Skjager also served as a User Support Consultant at NTNU IT Orakeltjenesten and interned at Uninett.

Pål's work experience demonstrates their expertise in cloud infrastructure management, DevOps, system design, software development, and customer interaction.

Pål Skjager Løberg obtained a MSc degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1994 and 1999. Prior to that, they completed their high school education in Science/Realfag at Hamar Katedralskole from 1990 to 1993. Pål also attended Børstad Ungdomsskole from 1987 to 1990, but it is not specified whether they obtained any degree or field of study from this institution. Apart from their formal education, Pål Skjager Løberg obtained a CMAS*** Freediver certification from Norges Dykkeforbund / CMAS in August 2014.
