Dr. Ranjana Kumari

Dr. Ranjana Kumari is a prominent social researcher and women's rights advocate serving as the Director of the Centre for Social Research India since July 1983. Additionally, Dr. Kumari holds advisory roles on Trust and Safety Councils at Meta and Teleperformance, and is an Advisory Council Member at the Advertising Standards Council of India and the Board Digital Publisher Content Grievances Council. As President of Women Power Connect, Dr. Kumari leads initiatives for women's advocacy involving over 1,900 activists and groups across India. Dr. Kumari has also contributed as a member of the National Mission for Women's Empowerment and previously served as a Safety Advisor for Twitter. With an extensive educational background including multiple degrees in Political Science and Government from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Dr. Kumari has played vital roles in both governmental and non-governmental organizations throughout their career.
