🚀 Vlad Nicula

Vlad Nicula has been working in the tech industry since 2013. In 2013 they worked as a Frontend Lead (Consultant) at SF AppWorks, and as a Frontend Engineer (Consultant) at Barandi Solutions. In 2015 they were a Full-Stack Javascript Engineer at Yoti Ltd. In 2016 they were a Full-Stack Javascript Engineer (Consultant) at e2x Limited, a React/Javascript Consultant for Self-Employed, and Co Organizer at Cluj JavaScripters Community. In 2018 they were a Software Architect and Senior Software Engineer at teleportHQ. In 2021 they were an Engineering Director at UPPER, and in 2022 they became a Technical Product Manager at teleportHQ. Throughout their career, Vlad has taught React to experienced non-react developers, architected real-time multiplayer collaboration systems, and facilitated technical workshops and code reviews.

Vlad Nicula received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universitatea “Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, they attended George Baritiu Highschool from 2006 to 2009, where they studied Physics, Math, and Computer Science. In 2013, they obtained a certification in Competitive Strategy from Coursera.
