Alejandro Morales Quirós, MSc

Specialist in grain postharvest technology at TeleSense

Alejandro Morales Quirós, MSc has worked in various roles in the grain management industry since 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Quality Control Technician at the National Rice Bureau. In 2014, they were an Interim Professor at the Seeds and Grains Research Center (CIGRAS). From 2015 to 2021, they held various roles at Kansas State University, including a Research Associate for the Feed the Future Innovation Laboratory for the Reduction of Post-Harvest Loss, a Research Assistant for the International Grains Program, and a Graduate Research Assistant for the International Grains Program. Since 2016, they have also been working as an independent Technical Consultant and English-Spanish Interpreter. In 2021, they began working as a Specialist in Grain Postharvest Technology at TeleSense, where they are an advisor of hardware/software development, conducts research and development of postharvest technology, and performs data analysis.

Alejandro Morales Quirós, MSc obtained their B.Sc. in Agronomy from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR between 2006 and 2012. Alejandro then obtained a Licentiate degree in Agronomy from the same university between 2012 and 2013. Finally, they obtained their M.Sc. in Grain Science & Industry from Kansas State University between 2015 and 2017.
