Chirag Vazirani

Scientist at Telesis Bio

Chirag Vazirani has a diverse range of work experience in the field of scientific research. Chirag began their career as a Research Associate Intern at the University of California - Kearney Research and Extension Center, where they assisted in analyzing fungal contamination in almond and pistachio kernels. Chirag then worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Fresno State, where they conducted various projects related to recombinant DNA generation, molecular cloning, and genetic analysis. Additionally, they served as an Instructor for the genetics and cellular biology course and taught as a Teaching Assistant. Chirag later joined Synthetic Genomics as a Research Associate II, where they independently designed, assembled, and transformed recombinant DNA constructs. Most recently, they joined Provenance Biofabrics as an Associate Scientist, and they are currently working as a Scientist at Telesis Bio.

Chirag Vazirani obtained a Master's degree in Biotechnology from California State University, Fresno, between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College from 2009 to 2013.
