Jean Deruelle

CTO and Co-Founder at Telestax

Jean Deruelle is the Co-Founder and CTO of TeleStax. Jean has over fifteen years of experience in the software engineering industry. Jean has worked as a software engineer for ATOS Origin, where they were responsible for web user interface refactoring of their Content Management System based on a J2EE architecture. Jean has also provided training and consulting for two internal teams regarding the Atos CMS product. Additionally, they have conducted studies on various CMS open source Java solutions to improve Atos CMS competitiveness.

Deruelle has also studied various portal solutions (JSR-168 and WSRP) open source Java solutions to integrate one of them into the Atos CMS. Jean has also refactored the existing proprietary J2EE Atos Content Repository towards a JSR-170 compliant repository (Jackrabbit). Additionally, they have set up a continuous integration system called Cruisecontrol for better QA on the Atos CMS product. Jean has also set up Maven 2.0 on the Atos CMS product to improve dependencies handling and versioning.

Deruelle's technical expertise includes Eclipse, Java/J2EE, Rational Rose XDE, Cruisecontrol, Savane, Jackrabbit, Tomcat, Apache, Maven, SSH, CVS, JSP, Servlets, JavaBeans, EJB, Maven 2.0, JCoverage, PMD, Junit, FindBugs, Ant, Portlets, Log4J, MySQL, Windows, Linux, and Unix.

Jean Deruelle has a Master in Distributed Computing Systems Engineering from Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale.

They work with Kevin Nettercott - Chief Commercial Officer, Veena Vadgama - VP Marketing, and Patrick Bonnaure - CFO. Their manager is Paul Doscher, President & CEO.
