Ivan Kutsenka

Ivan Kutsenka has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Ivan started their career in 2004 at Huawei Technologies as an Optical Specialist, where they primarily focused on pre-sales activities but also took on technical support and project management roles. Ivan worked on preparing and leading presentations for customers and partners. From 2006 to 2009, Ivan worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Nortel Networks, providing 24/7 technical support for optical network equipment and participating in technical negotiations with customers.

In 2010, Ivan joined Huawei again, this time as an Optical Transmission Telecom Senior Engineer. In this role, they provided technical support for main customers and was responsible for the SDH transport network rollout for a 3G project. Ivan also participated in DWDM projects, including site design and on-site commissioning.

From 2016 to 2021, Ivan worked at Nokia as a Transmission Design and Configuration Engineer, where they contributed to the design and configuration of transmission systems. Currently, Ivan is employed at Teleste as a Transmission Designer, where they are involved in implementing DWDM pre-design, design, and configuration for Virgin Media UK's transmission network. Ivan is responsible for planning and engineering DWDM optical transport circuits for business customers and also involved in planning decommissioning and SDH projects.

Ivan Kutsenka obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. In addition, they have acquired several certifications throughout their career. In July 2004, they received a certification in SDH networks and equipment from Huawei. In October 2011, they obtained a certification in DWDM planning and design, followed by a certification in DWDM networks configuration and maintenance in February 2011, both from Huawei. In June 2016, they completed a certification course on DWDM Infinera TM-Series, focusing on planning, implementation, and configuration, as well as TNM management and measurements of dispersion, offered by Akademia Światłowodowa Ltd. Most recently, in July 2021, they obtained a certification in Advanced OTDR analysis from Systems & Network Training Ltd. Additionally, in November 2021, Ivan obtained a Polish as a Foreign Language Certificate (B1) from the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language.
