Barry Clements

Clinical Associate Professor, Honorary Research Fellow at Telethon Kids Institute

Barry Clements has extensive work experience in the medical field. Barry is the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at both Inspiring Pty Ltd and Respirion Pty Ltd since 2016. Prior to that, they held the role of Clinical Associate Professor and Honorary Research Fellow at the Telethon Kids Institute starting from 2014. Barry has also worked as a Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Western Australia since 1990 and as a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Perth Children's Hospital since 1987. Barry started their career at Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Specialist Care as a Cardio-Respiratory Registrar and Research Fellow from 1982 to 1986.

Barry Clements attended the University of Oxford from 1975 to 1977, where they pursued a post-graduate medical program. Prior to that, they completed their medical studies at Cape Town University, earning an MBChB degree in Medicine. Barry later received a FRACP degree from the Royal Australian College of Physicians. Additionally, Barry obtained a MRCP(UK) degree from the Royal College of Physicians UK.
