Dr Poonam Pannu has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Dr Poonam is currently working as a Project Officer - ORIGINS at the Telethon Kids Institute since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Curtin University as a Unit Coordinator/Lecturer starting from January 2013. Dr Poonam also held the same position at Curtin College from July 2017 to June 2022. Dr Pannu worked as a Policy Officer in the Chronic Disease Prevention Directorate at the Department of Health (WA Health) from June 2013 to December 2013. Dr Poonam started their career as a Public Health Nutritionist at Foodbank WA in October 2011 and also held the Australian Health Promotion Association Scholarship from January 2011 to September 2011.
Dr Poonam Pannu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Nutrition/Epidemiology from Curtin University. Dr Poonam also obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Nutrition from the same university. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Curtin University.
