Telethon Kids Institute
Emma Douglas has a diverse work experience in the field of public health and research. Emma started their career in 2010 as a SunSmart Campaign Coordinator at Cancer Council WA. In 2011, they worked as a Health Officer at Rio Tinto. Emma then joined Diabetes WA in 2012, where they served as a Senior Health Promotion Officer until 2014. During their time at Diabetes WA, they also worked as a Consultant, Aboriginal Health, and a Priority Populations Project Coordinator. In 2014, Emma joined Strelley Community School as a Healthy Lifestyle Program Coordinator. Emma later joined Telethon Kids Institute in 2016 as a Research Officer. In addition to their roles, Emma was also a Committee member at Public Health Association Australia (WA) Branch.
Emma Douglas attended Curtin University from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Health Promotion.
