Jack Brett has a diverse work experience. Jack worked as a Research Assistant at the Telethon Kids Institute starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were an Academic Tutor at The University of Western Australia from 2020 to 2022, where they taught advanced quantitative methods in psychology to 3rd and 4th year students. Additionally, Jack worked as a Support Worker in 2019 and 2020, providing assistance to a man on the autism spectrum and accompanying him to various events and activities.

Jack Brett began their education in 2016 at The University of Western Australia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Jack completed their undergraduate degree in 2018.

In 2019, Jack continued their studies at The University of Western Australia and completed an Honours degree in Psychology.

Starting in 2020, Jack began their combined Master's/PhD program in clinical neuropsychology at The University of Western Australia. This program is expected to be completed in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Jack has also obtained several certifications. In February 2020, they received provisional psychologist registration from AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency). In April 2019, they obtained the certification of Standard Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid Australia.
