Jess Reynolds

Project Manager; Postdoctoral Researcher at Telethon Kids Institute

Jess Reynolds has a diverse work experience. They started working at Eureka Archaeological Research and Consulting in 2010 as a Research Associate. In 2012, they joined The University of Western Australia and took on various roles including SSEH1104 Active Leadership 1 Unit Co-Coordinator and Co Unit Developer, Sessional Tutor and Guest Lecturer, and UWA Unigym Intake Assessor, Instructor, and Supervisor. In 2017, they joined the Australian Cancer Research Foundation Cancer Imaging Facility as an Associate in Translational Imaging. From 2017 to 2019, Jess worked at the University of Calgary, holding positions such as Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Postdoctoral Fellow, T. Chen Fong Postdoctoral Scholar in Medical Imaging Science, and Eyes High Postdoctoral Scholar. They currently work at the Telethon Kids Institute as a Project Manager and Postdoctoral Researcher, starting in 2020.

Jess Reynolds completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc, Hons) degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from The University of Western Australia from 2006 to 2009. They then pursued a Bachelor of Science and Technology (BScTech) degree in Sport Science, Exercise & Health from the same university from 2011 to 2012. Jess went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Sport Science, Exercise & Health, Neuroscience from The University of Western Australia from 2013 to 2017. In 2013, they also completed a Specialist Certificate in Clinical Research in Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne. In 2014, Jess participated in the Scientist Knowledge Translation TrainingTM Course, which was undertaken at UWA and run by SickKids.
