Merridee Wouters

Computational Biologist at Telethon Kids Institute

Merridee Wouters has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Merridee is currently working as a Computational Biologist at Telethon Kids Institute since July 2021. Prior to this, from July 2018 to June 2021, they served as a Research Scientist, ProCan, at Children's Medical Research Institute.

Before that, from May 2015 to May 2018, they were a Research Scientist, Bioinformatics, at Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute. From June 2012 to May 2015, they held the position of Deputy Chair Health Futures at CUBEnet.

Additionally, from February 2011 to May 2015, they worked as a Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Science at Deakin University. Their earlier experience includes being a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at UNSW from 2004 to 2013 and a Group Leader, Bioinformatics, at Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute from 1997 to 2011.
