Carole Van Matre has extensive experience in the media and marketing industry. Carole is currently working as the Regional Director of Local Research at TelevisaUnivision Communications, a leading media company serving Hispanics worldwide. In 2014, they took on the role of heading the Local Research Team for Texas, overseeing research and marketing professionals in multiple markets. Prior to their current position, Carole worked at Univision Communications as the Regional Director of Local Research for a period of 15 years. Before that, they served as the Regional Director of Research & Marketing at Hispanic Broadcasting. Carole also has experience in the financial sector, where they worked as a Marketing Manager at Bank United, focusing on Hispanic marketing and various advertising initiatives. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Account Supervisor at Rives Carlberg, managing accounts in diverse industries such as fast food, technology, consumer products, retail, and media.

Carole Van Matre earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Texas A&M University (1980-1984). Carole also participated in the Women's Leadership Academy, 2015 Class, a program partnership with Univision Communications and Smith College Executive Education for Women (2015-2016).
