Tony Chapman

Tony Chapman is a seasoned professional in the broadcasting and media industry, currently serving as the Lead Technical Analyst & Project Manager at TVNZ since April 2008. With extensive experience in strategic initiatives, project management, and digital transformation, Tony has successfully overseen significant infrastructure upgrades and led the delivery of workstreams in major programs. Previous roles include Delivery Lead, General Manager of Future Operations, and Studios and Broadcast Events Operations Manager, showcasing leadership in both operational management and technical project delivery. Additionally, Tony holds a Bachelor of Broadcasting Communications from New Zealand Broadcasting School and has contributed to various organizations, including a term on the Board of Trustees for Al Jazeera Media Network and a media management role at Saint Ignatius Catholic Primary.
