Robotics Engineer at TELEXISTENCE Inc.

Anssi Kivinen has worked in a variety of roles since 1997. From 1997 to 2005, they worked as a Mechanic at Avant Tecno, where they were responsible for hydraulics, electronics, part assembly, entire machine assembly, painting of machine parts, testing and correcting the operation of the machines, quality assurance, and servicing used machines. From 2005 to 2017, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Etteplan, where they were responsible for paper production machinery and cargo container handling machine design projects for various clients. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as an Engineer at ALTEN Japan Co., Ltd., where they were employed by Techno Like Us Co., Ltd., a part of the Alten group. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Service Engineer at Konecranes, where they were responsible for inspection, maintenance, and repair of industrial cranes and heavy-duty forklifts and reach stackers. Currently, they are working as a Robotics Engineer at Telexistence Inc., where they are responsible for leading assembly and maintenance of the robot, as well as developing processes for overall mechanic operations (assembly, repair, maintenance, safety, etc.).

Anssi Kivinen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Automobile and Industrial Vehicle Engineering from Tampere University of Applied Sciences in 2005, with a focus on Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, and Product Development. Anssi also attended the Ammatti-Instituutti Iisakki Vocational School in Finland from 1994-1997, where they earned a Car Mechanic certification. In 2016-2017, Kivinen studied Japanese Language at the Academy of Language Arts in Tokyo, Japan. Additionally, they obtained a Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level N3 certification from the Japan Education Exchanges and Services in July 2019.
