Rainer Deutschmann

Rainer Deutschmann is the SVP, Group COO at Telia Company. Rainer was previously the Independent Non Executive Director of rain South Africa from March 2018 to December 2020. Prior to that, they were the Group Chief Operating Officer of Dialog Axiata PLC from September 2017 to September 2020.

Rainer has a wealth of experience in telecommunications, having worked in various roles in the industry for many years. Rainer Deutschmann has a Ph.D. in Physics from the Technical University of Munich, a Diploma in Physics from Caltech, and a Physics Diploma from the Technical University of Munich. Rainer also has a Vordiplom in Physics from Ulm University.
