Niko Savolainen

Niko Savolainen is a seasoned technology professional with over two decades of experience in software development and architecture, primarily in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as the Chief Architect and Product Manager at Telia Company since August 2017, Niko focuses on the architecture and development of the Telia Network Cloud, a VMware-based on-premises cloud solution. Previous roles at Nokia spanned from Software Engineer to Software Development Team Lead, where Niko directed the design and development of the Nokia Mobile Gateway and led efforts in cloud transition for the Flexi Network Gateway. With a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Automation from Helsinki Institute of Technology, Niko has demonstrated expertise in user plane packet processing and protocol development across various network elements.
