Shaun Kaufmann, PhD

Shaun Kaufmann, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Shaun is currently in Cohort 5, where they are a founder at Carbon13, a startup-focused company. Prior to this, they were a founder in residence at Entrepreneur First, where they worked on ideation and testing partnerships with prospective co-founders. Before that, Shaun worked as a Prototype Engineer at Telicent and a Machine Learning Engineer at KidsLoop Co., Ltd. Shaun also has experience as a Data Scientist, working at Capco and Malaczynski Burn. Shaun's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cambridge, where they researched and improved the preliminary design methodology of gas and hydraulic turbines.
