Sotarduga previously served as the Head of Voice & Mobility Product Operation at Telin from April 2019 to May 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Voice Services & Commercial Operation Manager from September 2016 to March 2019 and as the Marketing Alignment & Channel Management Manager from May 2015 to August 2016.

Before joining Telin, Sotarduga worked at Axiata as the Axiata International Voice Commercial Manager for a short period from January 2015 to April 2015. Their responsibilities in this role included managing assigned accounts of partner carriers, establishing new interconnections, and managing commercial routing of international traffic.

Sotarduga also spent several years at PT. XL Axiata Tbk, where they held different roles. From January 2013 to January 2015, they worked as a Senior Account Manager - Wholesale Voice, where they negotiated with key operators and successfully increased monthly revenues for an account. Prior to that, they worked as a Specialist - Datawarehouse Business Intelligence from January 2011 to December 2012.

Sotarduga's earlier experiences include working as a Datawarehouse Business Intelligence PRESALES CONSULTANT at Soltius for a brief period in 2010, serving as a Senior Web Team Leader at Switchlab from September 2008 to June 2010, working as a Presales / Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence Consultant at PT Visi Solusi Teknologi (VISITEK) Indonesia from September 2006 to September 2008, and being a Web Developer at Lyman Timber Indonesia from January 2005 to September 2006.

Sotarduga began their career as an IT/MIS Staff at Agricinal from November 2003 to December 2004. Sotarduga's skills and experiences span various areas, including sales, product operation, commercial management, negotiation, routing, data analysis, and web development.

Sotarduga Lamhot Sihombing obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2003. From 1993 to 1996, Sotarduga Lamhot Sihombing attended SMANSA MEDAN, where they obtained a Senior High School degree with a focus on Physics. They later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Institut Teknologi Bandung, completing it between 2010 and 2012. In 2022, Sotarduga Lamhot Sihombing attended the London Business School and completed a program on "Exploiting Disruption in a Digital World." Additionally, Sotarduga Lamhot Sihombing obtained multiple certifications related to messaging revenue optimization from HAUD in February 2022.
