Erich Rigling

Art Director at Telltale Games

Erich Rigling has extensive work experience in the gaming and entertainment industry. Erich started their career as an Art Director at Industrial Light & Magic/Lucas Film in 1995, where they worked for six years. Following this, they joined The Wild, a CG Feature from Disney, as a Supervising Character Designer from 2003 to 2006. Erich then worked at High Moon Studios as a Cinematics Art Director for a year before joining Secret Level Games/SEGA as a Cinematics Director for Console Games. At Secret Level Games/SEGA, they managed the Cinematics Department and directed Pre-Rendered and In-Engine Cinematics for various titles. Erich also collaborated with external animation production companies and managed internal animators for in-game Cinematics. Erich also provided creative input in narrative content and directed motion capture shoots. After working at Seavue Studios as an Owner from 2008 to 2011, Erich worked as a Lead Artist at Rivet Games. Here, they led the Art Team for the Facebook game Pet Tales and was responsible for team management, talent acquisition, and art direction. Erich also collaborated with senior management and product owners to develop the pipeline for game content. Erich then worked as a Freelance Art Director before joining ICEG - Entertainment as a Creative Director. At ICEG - Entertainment, Erich was in charge of overseeing the creative direction of the company. Most recently, Erich Rigling joined Ubisoft RedLynx as an Art Manager and is currently working at Telltale Games as an Art Director, leading the internal and external art teams for an upcoming project.
