Margery Harris

Margery Harris is the SVP & CHRO at Tellurian. Margery has over 25 years of experience in human resources and has held leadership positions at several companies, most notably Apache Corporation, where they served as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources from 2007 to 2016.

At Apache, Harris was responsible for leading all HR organizational activity and partnering with the CEO to optimize the company's organizational structure. Margery also created the first talent development process and succession plan in Apache's 60 year history. In addition, they spearheaded all HR matters related to company acquisition, divestiture and integration initiatives, including the HR integration for $11.7 billion in acquisitions in a one year period and the associated HR divestiture strategy for $12.4 billion in sales. As a result of their efforts, they were able to reduce Apache's head count by 35% and realize a run rate savings of over $55 million.

Prior to their work at Apache, Harris held HR leadership positions at Schlumberger, Texaco and Arthur Andersen. Margery holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Rice University.

Margery Harris completed their BSBA in Finance from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and their MBA in Finance & Marketing from the University of St. Thomas (TX).
