Brendan Hyland

Brendan Hyland has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Brendan started their career at Applied Materials as a Customer Support Engineer in 1996 and was responsible for hardware and software testing as well as maintenance and troubleshooting. In 1998, they joined Answerthink as a Project Manager, where they managed web development projects for clients including Adidas, Motorola, GM Vauxhall, and the BBC. In 2000, Brendan became a Product Manager at Nitrostream, a venture-funded online gaming startup, where their primary responsibilities included product management, marketing, operational management, financial planning, and recruiting. In 2002, Brendan joined Bayinteractive as a Senior Technical Project Manager, leading a team of project managers and overseeing successful client engagements. Brendan also played a key role in establishing the mobile enterprise business unit and growing the UI/UX team. In 2014, Brendan transitioned to Telmate, initially as a Product Manager and later as the Director of Product Management. Brendan joined GTL in 2018 as the VP Product Solutions Architect.

Brendan Hyland obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Physics & Microelectronics from Northumbria University, from the period of 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, they pursued a BEng in Mechanical Engineering at the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
