Fábio Cerqueira

Fábio Cerqueira has held multiple roles in the software engineering industry since 2010. Fábio started their career as a Software Developer at Mares Telecom, where they were responsible for developing web systems using Django and PostgreSQL. Fábio then moved to Panfleteria, where they provided consultancy and developed a payment system integrating PagSeguro, a credit system with Django, for the collective purchase website www.panfleteria.com. In 2012, they joined R2A as Technical Team Lead, where they developed prototypes for virtual banks and payment tools using Freeswitch, Django, and mod_python. Fábio also applied agile practices such as unit testing, refactoring, and continuous integration. Later that year, they joined INSERT - Information Security Research Team as a Researcher, where they conducted research on Cloud Computing security using vCloud, vCenter, and other VMWare technologies. Fábio also developed tools to promote study in the information security area, such as the INSERT website and the HackingnRoll game. In 2013, they joined LARCES - Laboratório de Redes de Computadores as a Software Developer, where they created and developed a network protocol simulator in C for functional testing. In 2014, they rejoined INSERT - Information Security Research Team as a Senior Software Developer, where they developed a Single Page Application for risk, cost, and maturity migration analysis of infrastructure to the cloud using Java and JavaScript, with the Play Framework (API REST) and Angular.js (frontend). In 2017, they joined 888spectate as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2020, they joined Telnyx as a Senior Software Engineer.

Fábio Cerqueira attended Universidade Estadual do Ceará from 2006 to 2014, studying Ciência da Computação.
