Ruchita Parab

Ruchita Parab has worked in a variety of roles in the field of data analysis. In 2021, they began working as a Data Analyst for Telnyx. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Technology Platform Data Analyst for InSite, LLC, where they prepared complex action-based dashboards in Tableau Desktop for clients like USAA and Adventist Healthcare. Ruchita also managed tableau licensing for clients and scheduled data extracts for published tableau reports in Tableau Server. In 2019, they were a Data Analyst Intern for Index Analytics LLC, where they developed visualization modules for FDA’s post marketing safety surveillance datasets using Qlik-Sense, and created ETL Scripts to transfer data from excel to SQL server management studio using Microsoft SSIS in Visual Studio. In 2018, they were a Teaching Assistant for the master's subject Advanced Database Projects at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they were responsible for checking and grading assignments consisting of SQL and PL/SOL procedures and functions, and compiling and grading group projects consisting of databases and queries fired on them. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Business Analyst and Management Trainee for Royal Sundaram General Insurance Co. Limited, where they were responsible for gathering and synthesizing requirements and conducting requirement analysis for insurance products, preparing business requirement documents, preparing test cases and signing of UAT's, and assessing motor insurance policies for bonus calculations and premium determination. In 2014, they were a Summer Intern for IFFCO- Tokio General Insurance Co. Ltd., where they studied the business processes of insurance products, performed motor underwriting for two wheelers and auto rickshaws, and calculated the renewal bonuses for health insurance policies.

Ruchita Parab completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Technology from Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai between 2008 and 2012. Ruchita then went on to pursue their PGDM in Insurance from National Insurance Academy between 2013 and 2015, and obtained a Fellow and Specialized Health Diploma in Insurance from the Insurance Institute of India in 2015 and 2014 respectively. In 2018, they obtained their Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. In 2019, they obtained certifications in Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 from LinkedIn, Tableau Training for Data Science from Udemy, Learning Microsoft SQL Server 2019 from LinkedIn, and R Programming: Advanced Analytics in R from Udemy.
