Technical Support Engineer

Sérgio Sales has been working in the technology field since 2014. Sérgio began their career as a Membro Bolsista at PET Engenharia Elétrica - Programa de Educação Tutorial - IFPB in 2014. In 2017, they took on two roles as an Estagiário de Engenharia Elétrica at Companhia de Água e Esgotos da Paraíba and as a Pesquisador Júnior at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Paraíba. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Tely as an Especialista de Telefonia, Analista de Telefonia - II and Estagiário de Telefonia. During this time, they were responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the VoIP ASTERISK and Cloud PBX - FREESWITCH platforms. Currently, they are working as a Product Support Engineer at Telnyx, where they are focused on providing developers and businesses with access to carrier-grade communication services.

Sérgio Sales obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering from the Instituto Federal da Paraíba in 2021, having started their studies in 2013. In 2015 and 2016, they studied a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Telecommunication and Biomedical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology. In addition, they hold certifications such as the Learning Badge AWS Cloud Quest: Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in 2023, the Técnico em Eletrotécnica from the Conselho Regional de Técnicos Industriais 3ª Região - CRT 03 obtained in 2020, the NSE 1 Network Security Associate and NSE 2 Network Security Associate from Fortinet obtained in 2021, the Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA) from Huawei obtained in 2020, and the TOEFL - iBT - Test of English as a Foreign Language - 101/120 from Educational Testing Service (ETS) obtained in 2014.
