Ian Fagan

Ian Fagan has a strong background in information technology and security. Ian started their career in 2006 as a Tier II Support Specialist at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Network Administrator at Hillel Yeshiva School. Ian then joined Oak Knoll School as an Information Technology Specialist from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, Ian joined Telos Corporation as an Information Security Consultant, eventually advancing to Senior Information Security Consultant and Senior Security Operations Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Telos Corporation.

Ian Fagan completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Forensics from American InterContinental University in 2010. Ian then pursued a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, which they completed in 2020. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in the field of cybersecurity, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in April 2022, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer - Information Security Certification from BSI in June 2021, and Registered Practitioner from the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (CMMC AB) in May 2021. Ian also holds certifications from various institutions such as ISACA, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, EC-Council, Offensive Security, and CompTIA, dating back to 2005.
