Alexis Cooper, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alexis began their career as a Paralegal Assistant and Data Analyst at Lake & Cobb, PLC in 2012. Alexis then worked as an Office Assistant Intern at Univar in 2014. In 2015, Alexis joined Mercer as an Actuarial Analyst Intern, gaining experience in the field of actuarial analysis. Alexis also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Investments at Brigham Young University during this time. Alexis then joined BYU Global Financial Advisors, where they served as a Business Analyst Team Lead from 2015 to 2016.

From 2016 to 2016, Alexis worked as an Equity Research Analyst at HSBC Global Banking and Markets. Alexis then briefly rejoined the same company in 2017 as an Equity Research Analyst. During their time at HSBC, they honed their skills in equity research and analysis.

Following their stint at HSBC, Alexis worked as a Customer Support Service Representative at TaxHawk, Inc from 2014 to 2017. In this role, they coached customers on successful tax filing and developed strong problem-solving skills.

Most recently, Alexis joined Telsey Advisory Group in 2020 as an Equity Research Associate. In this role, they continue to apply their expertise in equity research and provides valuable insights to support investment decision-making.

Alexis Cooper, CFA, has a strong education background in finance. Alexis first attended Highland High School from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Alexis then pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance at Brigham Young University from 2010 to 2016. During their time at Brigham Young University, they also attended the Marriott School of Business from 2014 to 2016, where they earned another Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Alexis has obtained several certifications in the financial field. Alexis became a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder in July 2022, demonstrating their expertise in investment management and financial analysis. Prior to that, they acquired the FINRA Series 87 License in January 2018, the FINRA Series 86 License in December 2017, the FINRA Series 63 License in September 2017, and the FINRA Series 7 License in September 2017. Alexis also completed the Bloomberg Market Concepts program in December 2014 to enhance their knowledge of financial markets. Furthermore, they have taken the CFA Level Three exam, aiming to complete the CFA program.
