Chris Tirpak

Chris Tirpak is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and consulting. Currently serving as the Head of the Telstra Advanced Software Engineering Center since February 2023, Chris leads a team focused on solving complex challenges within the organization. Previously, Chris co-founded Growmotely, where a strong emphasis was placed on building high-performing remote software engineering teams, and served as Chief Technology Officer at EchoStar Corporation, overseeing the development of SlingTV and innovative solutions for the OTT video market. Chris's entrepreneurial background includes founding Redpoint Software, providing strategic consulting across various industries, and co-founding OpenStack Systems focused on open-source solutions. With a BBA in Information Technology from Loyola University Maryland, Chris has held various leadership roles, driving technology transformation and organizational strategy throughout a prolific career spanning nearly three decades.
