Alex Shafran

Alex Shafran is a Managing Director of Solutions Architecture at TELUS Digital, having joined the company in January 2023 following its acquisition of WillowTree, where Shafran served as Partner and VP of Solutions Architecture from July 2012 until September 2025. In this role, Shafran led a team of Solutions Architects to design technical solutions for partners and was previously a Principal Solutions Architect at WillowTree. Shafran began a career in technology with roles as an iOS Developer and Technical Analyst Intern across various organizations including AMPS LLC and dibiasio & Edgington. Educated at the University of Richmond, Shafran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematical Economics.
