Doug French

Doug French is the current Director at Telus International. Doug has held this position since December of 2002. Prior to that, they were the Director of Finance at TELUS Mobility from January 1999 to December 2002. In this role, they were responsible for Financial Reporting, Taxation, Disbursements, Asset Management, Payment Processing and Internal Audit. Doug was able to reduce the timing of the issuance of the internal financial statements from 25 days to 5 working days in 18 months. Doug was also accountable for tracking, accounting and valuation of network and other capital assets, including setting policies and procedures for on useful live determination, impairment assessments, asset safeguarding procedures and controls and capitalization policies.

From January 1996 to December 1999, Doug French was the Director - Financial Reporting at Clearnet. In this role, they were accountable for all external reporting and support of significant transactions including due diligence, financial integration and purchase price accounting of numerous acquisitions. Doug was also active in raising more than $3 billion in 12 different offerings for the issuance of both debt and equity issues at Clearnet.

Doug French is a Chartered Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Canadian and Ontario Institutes. Doug has an Honours Bachelor of Arts, Commerce and Economics from the University of Toronto and attended Woburn CI.
