Omar Salome

Omar Salome is an experienced Network Planning Engineer currently employed at Telxius since April 2016, specializing in network planning and technologies for submarine cables. Prior to this role, Omar served as a Network Planning Engineer at Telefonica Global Solutions for 15 years, focusing on submarine cables, fiber optics, and transport technologies. Additionally, from August 2009 to July 2015, Omar contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor of Optical Communications at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Omar holds a Bachiller degree in Literature from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and an Electronic Engineer degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
