Shang Chou, CQF, currently serves as the Managing Director at Simplify, focusing on growth and operations for a newly launched alternative asset manager since 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Vice President in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs, where oversight was provided for over $3 billion in assets under management. Shang excelled at J.P. Morgan as Vice President of the U.S. Private Bank, building a private wealth management business and achieving top rankings in asset acquisition and revenue growth. Previous entrepreneurial experience includes leading a fintech startup from founding to exit and involvement in healthcare private equity at Pritzker Group. Early career efforts spanned roles at Credit Suisse and PIMCO, complemented by a foundational position as a Senior Investment Analyst at Mercer. Shang Chou holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
