Maria Kang

Maria Kang is an experienced strategist and policy professional with a diverse background in defense and organizational development. Currently serving as Associate Director of Strategy, Mandates & Impact at Temasek Trust since February 2022, Maria previously held various roles at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore from 2011 to 2021, including Assistant Director of Strategy for the Defence Cyber Organisation and Assistant Director for the United States in the Defence Policy Office. Maria's work involved enhancing defense relations, strategic planning, and managing organizational change. Additionally, Maria gained entrepreneurial experience at Antler and interned in economic and personnel policy roles within the Ministry of Defence. Maria holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick.
