Debbie Forster

Debbie Forster, based in the United Kingdom, is CEO of the Tech Talent Charter, an industry collective which aims to deliver greater inclusion and diversity in the UK technology workforce. Debbie brings a unique skill set across the areas of technology, innovation, diversity and education, and was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honour List in January 2017 for “Services to Digital Technology and Tech Development” as well as being named the “Most Influential Women in UK IT” by Computer Weekly in 2019. She currently serves on the UK government’s Digital Economy Board and its Money and Pensions Advisory Board. Previously, Debbie was CEO of education charity Apps for Good, taking the organisation through a period of exponential growth, and worked for e-skills, the UK’s national IT sector skills council. Prior to this, she had a two-decade career in education.

Debbie holds an M.A. from the University of Leeds.
