Justine Lopez

Justine Lopez has a diverse work experience in the field of research and laboratory management. Justine started their career as a Lab Technician at Veterans Medical Research Foundation in 2006, where they worked until 2008. Justine then joined the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology, where they served as a Research Technician from 2010 to 2014. During their time there, they assisted in maintaining the mouse colony, conducted various in vitro and in vivo experiments, and collaborated with other researchers. In 2014, Justine joined the University of California, San Diego as a Staff Research Associate. In this role, they managed the lab research space and animal colony, conducted flow cytometry, cell culture, and tissue culture experiments, and created a database for human study samples. More recently, they worked at Burlingame Public Library as a Volunteer from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Justine is working as a Lab Manager and Sr. Research Associate at Tempest Therapeutics, a position they have held since 2019.

Justine Lopez attended Point Loma Nazarene University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology.
