Jessica Rivo

Jessica Rivo is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching English and literature across various academic settings. Currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Temple Beth Am since August 2019, Rivo has previously held positions such as English literature teacher at iTech Educational Center, and English teacher at RASG Hebrew Academy, where a diverse curriculum was developed covering American and World literature. Rivo's earlier roles include teacher assistant at the Center for Talented Youth and positions as a student teacher at High School for Math, Science, and Engineering at City College and The Computer School. Additionally, Rivo has worked to support students with ADHD at What's On Your Mind, Inc., and created bespoke curriculum for English language arts at Cheongna Dalton School. Rivo holds a Certificate in Advanced Jewish Studies and Education from Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, a Master’s degree in the Teaching of English from Columbia Teachers College, and a Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Pennsylvania.
