Lilli Shvartsmann

Lilli Shvartsmann is currently serving as Assistant Rabbi and Rabbinic Intern at Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El since September 2023, and has a Rabbinic Internship at Penn Hillel set to continue until July 2024. Lilli has been involved in various roles at The Jewish Theological Seminary, including Admissions Intern and Slifka-Nadich Fellowship Program Coordinator from May 2020 to July 2024. Previous experience includes a Rabbinic Internship and Religious School Teacher position at Congregation Beth El and co-founding and directing Summer in the City, a grassroots community initiative for Jewish undergraduates. Lilli has also held positions with Hillel at Binghamton University, Project ORE, New York Legal Assistance Group, Avodah, and USY. Lilli's education includes studies at The Jewish Theological Seminary, Hadar Institute, California State University, Northridge, and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
