James Skinner

James Skinner, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. James started their career in the US Army as a 19D(Z) Cavalry Scout in 1985 and served until 2013. In 2016, they joined Lean Forward Business Services as a Lead Business Consultant until April 2023. At Temple College, they held multiple positions including Testing Specialist and Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) Instructor. James also served as the Associate Director, Interim Director, and currently as the Director of Adult Education and Literacy. In 2022, James joined Pacific Community Ventures (PCV) as a Small Business Advisor.

James Skinner, MBA has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Human Performance Technology from Excelsior University. James also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College. Currently, James is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree in Marketing at Liberty University, which they are expected to complete in 2026.

In addition to their formal education, James Skinner has obtained various certifications. Some of their certifications include Texas CASAS Trainer from TCALL @TAMU, Distant Learning from TCALL @TAMU, Mac OS from Northstar Digital Literacy, and Tech Integration Coach Apprentice 1 from TCALL @TAMU. James has also obtained certifications in Recruiting Diverse Talent as a Hiring Manager from LinkedIn, FAA TRUST UAS (Drone) Certificate from Drone U, and Adult Education & Literacy New Director Training from Texas Workforce Commission, among others.
