Rachel Katz

Rachel Katz currently serves as the Program and Operations Coordinator for the Religious School at Temple Israel of Hollywood since October 2022. Previously, Rachel held the position of Program and Calendar Manager at Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion from August 2019 to October 2022 and was the Program Director at URJ 6 Points Sci Tech Academy West for a brief period in 2019. As an Education Fellow at The Institute of Southern Jewish Life from June 2017 to May 2019, Rachel built strong relationships with community members, developed educational programming for various congregations, and organized educational workshops. Earlier experiences include roles such as Mishpacha Program Faculty at Congregation Or Ami, Resident Advisor for NFTY Convention 2017, and a Machon Kaplan Fellow at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish/Judaic Studies from California State University, Northridge in 2017.
