Laynie Zell

Laynie Zell currently serves as an Officer in the US Navy and as a Cantorial Intern at Temple Sharey Tefilo Israel. Previously, Laynie worked as a Cantorial Intern at Temple Rodef Shalom and as a teacher at Temple Beth El, focusing on Hebrew and Judaic Studies for grades 2-3. Laynie has experience in instructional design and LMS administration from a role at Pherson Associates, which built upon earlier teaching and tutoring roles at Temple Rodef Shalom. Additionally, Laynie is an accomplished author, with a novel titled "Jesimae" published in October 2016. Laynie is pursuing an Ordination in the Cantorate at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, expected to complete in May 2024. Laynie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from William & Mary.
