Rami Mawas

Rami Mawas is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology and software development. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering and Head of Fitness Experience Engineering at Tempo since January 2022, Rami previously held the position of Director of Engineering for Delivery at Uber from September 2014 to January 2022, focusing on diverse engineering recruitment. Prior roles include Engineering Manager at AOL, where Rami managed a mobile engineering team, and Software Engineering Manager at Alto Mail, overseeing the launch of a web-based email service. Rami has demonstrated expertise in backend architecture, API development, and team leadership across various companies, including The Huffington Post, Truveo, and as a co-founder of FanBubble. Rami holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
