Liang Mei has an extensive work experience in various technology companies. In 2009, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where they developed novel methods for object recognition and pose estimation, leading to improved accuracy in object pose estimation. Liang joined Microsoft in 2010 as a Software Development Engineer, where they contributed to the development of the Customer portal of BingAds and implemented a distributed in-memory cache for business logic validation and authorization. In 2014, they transitioned to Dell EMC as a Principal Software Engineer and later became a Sr. Engineering Manager. At Dell EMC, Liang led a team in delivering key components for the Elastic Cloud Storage platform and managed a geo-distributed team. Then, in 2016, Liang joined Uber as an Engineering Manager, responsible for leading workflow systems and overseeing the development of Cadence and Chronos. Currently, Liang is working at Temporal Technologies as part of the Engineering Leadership team.
Liang Mei's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Computer Science, which was obtained from Shanghai Jiao Tong University between 2004 and 2008. Following this, Liang Mei pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering: Systems at the University of Michigan from 2008 to 2010.
