Kathleen Burke

Kathleen Burke is a highly experienced professional in computational biology and bioinformatics, currently serving as Senior Director of Computational Biology at Tempus AI since February 2022. Previously, Kathleen held multiple positions at AstraZeneca from March 2018 to March 2022, including Associate Director, where responsibilities included interpreting clinical trial biomarker data and enhancing preclinical data strategies. Kathleen's earlier experience at IBM involved improving clinical trial matching for the Watson for Genomics Platform. Kathleen began her career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
