Roy Giovannoni has over 20 years of work experience. Roy started their career in 1999 as an Operations Manager at Roy's Office Equipment Center, where they collaborated with the CEO to develop organizational systems and processes to accommodate both growth and recession. In 2011, they began working for Apple Retail as a Specialist, assisting new and returning Apple and iOS users by sharing knowledge, device and application support, and providing exceptional customer service. Roy also instructed in-store introductory workshops and classes on how to use specific applications such as iMovie. In 2012, they became the Director of Production at iBaseballChannel, directing and producing audio and video content, researching and writing invitation letters to potential guests, and delivering thought-provoking interviews. In the same year, they founded and produced the podcast The Fadeaway J, where they wrote, interviewed, edited, and produced content including sports, music, movies, and more. In 2019, they founded, produced, and hosted the podcast Vita Sugo, where guests were invited to share their own batch of "talking sauce" and relate to a layer of Gravy Life in some form. In 2020, they joined Ten Percent Happier as a Senior Customer Support.
Roy Giovannoni obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Chapman University between 1996 and 1999. Roy then attended Sonoma State University, but did not obtain a degree.
